SLEEFS to help Pittsburgh Steelers Running Back, DeAngelo Williams Gain Yards Against Breast Cancer

Davie, FL. - May 13, 2017- Custom athletic wear company, SLEEFS will be a sponsor at The DeAngelo Williams Foundation (DWF) Throwin for a Cure corn hole tournament. The non-profit organization is headed by NFL running back DeAngelo Williams, an avid supporter for the fight against breast cancer. Williams will be hosting the corn hole tournament at Liberty Bowl Parking Lot in his former college town of Memphis, Tennessee on May 13.

The annual tournament will be returning for its fourth year with all proceeds and donations going towards DWF to support the eradication of breast cancer.

In alliance with the cause, SLEEFS will be joining Williams and his foundation to help bring all supporters together by donating over 200 custom compression sleeves to attendees.

From football jerseys, t-shirts, gloves and wristbands, Williams is always seen wearing an assortment of gear embellished with hues of pink and the breast cancer symbol. Keeping this in mind SLEEFS will create the compression sleeves breast cancer specific with pink tones throughout the design.

On and off the field, Williams has dedicated his time and effort to the support and education of breast cancer. A rocky history between the disease and Williams family shook up his life more than once. The loss of his mother and four aunts took a heavy toll on him and is the drive behind his continued passion for breast cancer awareness.

William’s foundation has raised over $10,000 at Throwin’ for a Cure in prior years, hosting more than 70 teams and providing a fun filled day of community events for all attendees. This year the event will be hosting 100 team, costs to register are $34/per person and $68/per team.

DWF is a non-profit organization founded by Williams in 2006. Their mission is to develop and seek initiatives to support the eradication of breast cancer through preventative care and research.
